Given today's events at the football, if anyone wishes to learn what to do in an emergency, Lifesaver is an app that gives you scenarios of CPR and Emergencies, and talks you through what to do and why. Learning this could save a life :) https://t.co/kpaX21TLVm
Nursing Associates are registered staff and "qualified" for their roles. They don't substitute registered nurses.
Hierarchy in nursing should advocate and support nursing associates, not blame them for decade failures by Conservative government undermining the nursing profession.
My nan would truly love this, she might not remember my name all the time, but my god can she tell you what classical song is on the radio in under 5 seconds🥰
Nearly 1 million families affected by dementia are struggling to get support from the UK’s broken social care system that they need & deserve.

#HappyNursesDay2021 from Day 1 in my secure unit, to becoming a pilot Nursing Associate, all the way to working as an Registered NA in a community hospital, I'd never thought I'd get this far or have this much variety in my 4 short years in the NHS. 🥰

Found my grandads Nursing Registration a few days ago! He was an Enrolled Nurse in Fulbourn, and 50 years later, I worked at the exact same hospital as a Nursing Associate 🥰 shame we don't get these fancy certificates anymore!
@WeNursingAssocs We used to do regular ground walks with patients, or rambling groups in nearby forests and parks, one of my favourite group sessions we did! 🌷
@TraineeNA_Chels @WeNursingAssocs I did manage to go into pay point 2 on my qualification, looking to try to do the same for my top up. 40 pounds a month isn't worth the stress of uni for B5! It's managers discretion where they band you though x
@WeNursingAssocs Yes!! I moved to band 4, (was top band B3) and now having to pay my NMC fee, plus going up to 7.1% pension cont. Worked out doing the top up would only give me £40 extra a month as a bottom band B5 😞
