1/3 #lka @ General Debate of #HRC45 said that gov of #srilanka is committed to proceeding with 20A through a completely #democratic process. HRC concerns on the pardoning of Sunil Rathnayaka was refused citing it was an exercise of the Constitutional Powers.

2/3 A domestically designed and executed process in line with the new Government’s policy framework will be implemented to assure #reconciliation and #TransitionalJustice. Gov remains committed to the assurances it made previously to @UNHumanRights.
