NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) is a great way to stay informed of the latest, real-time weather conditions, forecasts, and of course watches, warnings and advisories issued directly from your National Weather Service. 📻
Most NWRs allow you to set your location, so you’ll only receive emergency alerts for your area. And the portable NWR option is perfect for camping trips when cell phone service may be unreliable! 🏕️https://t.co/F9KtDJwfOE

I was delighted to welcome my longtime friend, Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda, to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains for the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meetings.
We discussed the strength of the U.S.-Japan alliance, shared macroeconomic and financial priorities, Japan’s monetary policy normalization, and the importance of sound policy formulation and communication to anchor inflation expectations and avoid excess exchange rate volatility.
Stronger, more durable growth is the central priority of the U.S. G20 Presidency. And under @POTUS, the United States is setting the pace in correcting policy failures that inhibit it.
We have made the U.S. the world’s premier destination for capital to flow and for businesses to flourish. Delivered historic tax relief to millions of working families. And reclaimed our position as the world’s energy superpower.
These achievements are shaping the next era of growth. And we are just getting started.

China's central bank just revealed a record $50.4 billion drop in bank lending for July 2026.Everyday families and businesses are rushing to repay debt rather than borrow, signaling deep panic across the economy.
Net new yuan loans shrank by 340 billion yuan ($50.4 billion) in July. This marks the sharpest monthly contraction on record and only the third decline this century. Borrowers in the real economy made a staggering 590 billion yuan in net loan repayments, completely turning away from new credit.
While total aggregate financing appeared to rise by 1.41 trillion yuan, the numbers are deceiving. Nearly all of that growth came from government bond sales, not organic private lending.
The underlying numbers show a sharp pullback. Household loans, including home mortgages, shrank by over 460 billion yuan as property market anxiety deepened. Corporate long-term borrowing contracted as well, pushing outstanding loan growth to an all-time low of 5.1%. For the first seven months of 2026, total new bank lending is down nearly 20% compared to 2025.
