Did you know these facts about theft from motor vehicles in the city of Richmond? 🚗
There are many #FourthofJuly events happening in the city today - and in the surrounding metro Richmond area. So please take the time to #LockItOrLoseIt! 🔒
Have a happy and SAFE holiday 🇺🇸
We have only had one theft from a vehicle reported this week. I was advised by some citizens that they had their vehicle tampered with and we have deployed our officers to address the area near Jahnke Rd. Thank you to everyone that is helping mitigate this problem.
On June 26th, we responded to a robbery on Glenway Ct. Detectives Holmes and Osbourne were able to identify the offender. They obtained warrants for her arrest and the Tactical side of the unit went out and took her into custody. Awesome work closing the case, all within 2 days!
National Night Out will be held on August 6th this year. If you are planning a neighborhood event, please register it. We look forward to visiting the events and sharing a few laughs...

@MarianeMatera @G_Ross8News @RichmondPolice@8NEWS Generally people that aren’t supposed to have guns are not going to tell us they possessed a gun, or that it was stolen but that is a fair question, thank you.
