Plus I find button mashing pretty boring.

@Apollo_SFR @FinalFantasy @finalfantasyxvi This is correct! There are only so many ways to mash buttons. There are endless strategic permutations of turn-based combat. There are even some interesting combos of the two (like Valkyrie Profile!). If I wanted to play Kingdom Hearts, I'd play Kingdom Hearts.

@FinalFantasy @finalfantasyxvi As much as I am intrigued by the world, the setting, and the characters (I guess, anyway. Where are the women?), if this combat is as DMC/Souls/XV-style button-mashy BS as it looks, I probably physically cannot play it. And I can't be the only one.

@FinalFantasy @finalfantasyxvi I WANTED to play 15. I've tried three times. But I just can't. With the way I have to hold a controller, I can't target. FFVII Remake was intensely difficult and somewhat physically painful, but I soldiered through it because I loved the original FFVII.

@RicardoG1981 @FinalFantasy @finalfantasyxvi Why, though? There are plenty of button-mashing fantasy games. Final Fantasy has historically been a series that features strategic turn-based combat with a party. KH and stuff like The Witcher's got the button-mashing more than covered.
