Seeing a lot of special helmets done for F1 driver as this weekends Miami GP and can't help but think how good we have with designers such as Starline and Aldo Drudi and the many others that work predominantly in Motorcycle racing. 1/2
There seems to be a theme in F1 helmets that they all seem to centre around the curved/pointy graphic element just in different colours and directions (obvious exceptions such as Lando's)
Aprilia are trying to go even lower with the RS-GP's fairing to increase ground-effect performance. Check out the skid-wear blocks at the base of the fairing - they use these in F1 to check ground-effect clearance
First time I've seen a Desmosedici with a chain guide, designed to deal with the crazy forces created by starts and corner exits with ride-height devices engaged. Both MM93's starts at Jerez were perfect but the whole idea of racing is always to improve on perfect 😎😎
#MotoGP is a prototype championship and this is what you call prototype kit! MM93 about to test his GP26 with swingarm fairings designed to clean up the all-important airflow at the rear of the motorcycle #marginalgains
Any one of my learned friends know what suit manufacturer Anders Andersson is wearing in this photo? Taken in I believe 1986 but used through to the 90s?
