@Callystarr@GrantK153632 I wasn't trying to be condescending? I'm just saying Tre Johnson is a standout shooter, off-ball spot-up guy of the Klay mold. Silky smooth, as someone who watched most of his games and writes about the Wiz.
That's purely his game, while Keyonte's also a passer and driver.
@Callystarr@GrantK153632 That's as a rookie on volume. Keyonte George shot 33.4% as a rookie from 3 and has improved every year.
You'd know Tre's a pure shooter if you've watched him enough. We didn't even have a real point guard last season to set him up, and now we have Trae Young and Dybantsa.
Wizards president Michael Winger was asked if winning the lottery was validation for the last few seasons.
โThat word didnโt cross my mind. It is certainly rewarding ... But ultimately, we still have to draft the right player. We still have to raise that player.โ
@JaylinHicks3 @TheHoopCentral I know it's from this same game, I was watching it. I'm literally writing an article about this now and felt it irresponsible to add the bit about Ja "taking a shot" at Klay because you can't really tell for sure 100% either way.
We can agree to disagree.
@JaylinHicks3 @Matt_Infield I watched the game and am covering it for the site I write for now. Klay doesn't play for Golden State anymore, why would he say that specifically?
Why would he say "best shooter in the house" and talk about the team Pat's brother plays for? Context clues.
@pippen033@TermineRadio@DWilkins21@jj_redick wasn't what JJ said. It was completely taken out of context when it was an argument about defending the perimeter.
No question there's more urgency and attention to defending it against Curry now than shooter ever before.

@hopefulmetsfan@TimBontemps Because there are no real stakes. The NBA wants a midseason tournament that fans will (eventually) care about and has real impact on the season
@IllStealYaGirl@HoodiDrew Empty stats is averaging an inefficient 25 just cause nobody on your team is good.
SGA putting up 31 points per on the same shooting clip as Giannis (54% FG) as a guard while shooting 94% FT and averaging 4 blocks + steals per. He's him.
"Weโre playing catch up in the first quarter."

Washington is -26 in the 1Q during this three-game losing streak, their longest of the season.
