@MinnesotaMillea John, I am so looking forward to reading this collection of some of your best stories over the years. Hope you are enjoying your retirement!
@NATA_SSATC Rest in Peace, Tom Woods! He contributed a great deal to the growth of GHATS, SWATA, and the AT Profession in general. He will be missed by many of us.
@FlagAndFire While Mom might be pushing it a bit, I see more good parenting here than abuse. Growth does not take place if we continually operate in our safe zone. In order to grow we have to push just beyond what we think we can do.
@FlagAndFire I can see what Mom is doing. Mom never left her childβs side, never let her child be put in a life threatening situation. Mom let child engage in a productive struggle. The child will emerge stronger, smarter and more aware of the potential danger in that pool and what to do.
@CaitrATC@UNIAthTraining Way Cool, Caitlin! Congratulations! You are highly deserving of this honor! May it serve to not only inspire you to greater peak achievements, but also serve to remind you, when youβre experiencing the occasional valleys we all go through, of what an incredible talent you are.
@NATA_SSATC A sense of humor that prompts my athletes to smile and/or laugh. A sense of encouragement, whether it be fist bumping, high 5-ing, or anything else that reinforces my belief in them and allows them to feel it.
@CaitrATC Last year I attended one section football game and one girlsβ basketball game. That was it. It helped that my current job kept me busy. Iβm not sure Iβll do even that, this year.
@mjcatc@mnhopper1s@NFHS_Org Iβm a member of Minnesotaβs SMAC and it is highly recommended. I know of one small school in our area that is fielding a girls flag football team this spring, allowing girls to double up with track & softball. So far they have not reached out to us for coverage as of yet.
@MSHSLjohn Thank you John, for all that you have done throughout your career to highlight high school sports in Minnesota. Thank you especially for making the stories from Caledonia and East Grand Forks seem just as important as the stories from Edina and Stillwater.
@MSHSLjohn As much as hockey is celebrated and rightfully so, I agree with you in that few events bring the level of pure intensity that the state wrestling tournament brings.
