FIFA says performance throughout the tournament was the main reason for his appointment.

None of that proves bias. But after what happened in the final, his appointment and decisions deserve proper scrutiny.

I thought maybe I was just being emotional after the loss, but that refereeing felt heavily tilted toward Spain. Then I learned he had been detained during a 2020 police raid where drugs, weapons and cash were seized. He was released as a witness and never charged, so that proves nothing about the final. Still, FIFA choosing him for the biggest match feels bizarre.

FYI, BIP 110 is a proposed temporary soft fork to limit inscriptions and other data spam on Bitcoin for about a year. It’s pretty divisive and has almost zero miner support so far. Saylor’s main point is that it risks Bitcoin’s neutrality.

I know a guy who built a robot on a potato farm in Idaho.

And if I were talking to Trump I would be trying to convince him to support robots.
