The 2-day Anti-FGM Policy Consultative Forum concluded today in Dadaab.

Our Garissa office, in partnership with @Garissapress, @RRDO2022, @RCKKenya and GCCP&GTWG, is in Dadaab for a consultative forum with protection actors to gather inputs on the draft Garissa County Anti-FGM Policy 2024.
The day began with a courtesy call to the Deputy County Commissioner Dadaab and the Kenya Red Cross Dadaab office. The Commission will provide technical guidance to ensure the policy integrates human rights, gender equality, and inclusion, making it context-specific and community-owned.
