And now, in 2024, while still in the middle of a nursing shortage this reactionary destructive government stops employing nurses, leaving many graduates unemployed. Unbelievable.
Today we graduated over 220 nurses and 60 other health graduates at MIT.
HealthNZ: look after them
NZNO: advocate well for them
NZ public: respect them

In my exposé on how the United States is quietly tightening its grip on the Pacific through Aotearoa New Zealand’s military, I detailed the pattern of deepening interoperability under former Defence Minister Judith Collins. From extensive Five Eyes meetings and US-led command systems to the establishment of an FBI office in Wellington and Collins’ own closed-door engagements in the United States. Collins repeatedly framed these moves as modernisation and closer Anzac ties, but they risked eroding New Zealand’s independent foreign policy. Her resignation from the Defence portfolio on April 7 2026, shortly after key alignments advanced, only heightened those concerns.
As I argued, true sovereignty demands far greater transparency and public scrutiny over such strategic shifts, not quiet integration that leaves smaller nations with diminishing autonomy.
No one blackmailed Trump.
No one forces the US to be violent.
Some would rather believe a tale than admit their country and society are the most violent on earth.
This is called denial.
They may have themselves fooled but the planet sees right through it.
NZ is in the US crosshairs again. First on critical minerals—the US pushed to draw NZ into a "Critical Minerals Framework" to isolate Chinese processors, a deal our Cabinet rejected in February. Now, the US Trade Representative office is proposing 12.5% blanket tariff on our US exports unless we copy-paste the aggressive US Uyghur Forced Labour Prevention Act playbook.
This isn't about human rights or secure supply chains; it’s a coordinated geoeconomic strategy. Washington is weaponizing market access to build a closed, US-centric trade bloc, attempting to force NZ to choose between our traditional security ally and China, our largest export market.
US forced labour concerns a bit rich considering their support for Israeli atrocities and its own illegal war of aggression on Iran - effectively holding the world economy hostage to US efforts to collapse the Iranian state.
“Prime Ministers acknowledged the 75th anniversary of the ANZUS Treaty, the foundation of our Alliance and our defence and security partnership. They reaffirmed that our Alliance was critical to safeguard our collective security and support a peaceful, stable and prosperous Pacific region.”
Comment: Weird. Ahistorical. The ANZUS treaty was signed in 1951, rather a long time after the forging of the ANZAC spirit at Gallipoli in 1915 and its subsequent reinforcement on the Western Front and in WW2. NZ has been suspended from the operation of the ANZUS treaty since the mid 80s. But we are meant to believe that our special bond is due to ANZUS. How could NZ agree to such rubbish?
Haha, hilarious.
The con is exposed!
The whole #AUKUS scam is now stripped bare.
It has always been a con to enable the US to get its hands on more Australian territory for their US military bases.
Bases for their subs, ships, bombers, marines, drones, spy bases, weapons storage, and getting an extra flag for their forced anti-China alliance.
Australia has been conned big time — and was taken there by a pack of traitorous collaborators. You know who I mean.
#AUKUS is dead in the water — but the occupation of Australia continues.

At the moment, we've got a bunch of d-tier MPs picking a fight with our largest trading partner while unemployment keeps rising & homelessness keeps increasing.
They need to shut their stupid gobs & start fixing the issues Kiwis are concerned about.
Netanyahu’s failing war in Lebanon must be losing popularity faster than we realize if his personal hasbara mill is churning out propaganda this desperate
Here's the difference. I hear many US politicians calling for collapse of China's political system & adoption of democracy
I don't hear many Chinese politicians calling for collapse of US political system & adoption of Communism
I do hear Chinese saying leave us alone
Do people think Israelis fall out of the sky? They are Americans. They are from Germany, Russia, the UK, France.
It's a Western colony. Founded, armed, and supported by the West, and made up of Westerners.
China bashing network IPAC’s parliamentary chumps in New Zealand are advised by veteran China-baiter Anne-Marie Brady (pictured on IPAC’s website in typically Kiwi casual evening dress). Brady has a prominent role in the wider IPAC organisation. Funding for IPAC is mainly from Taiwan, the US and Japan. https://t.co/muhanqx8Ca
Ok - NZ’s IPAC MPs can do what they want- and - so can China? IPAC members know exactly what they’re up to. China’s disapproval is what they covet. Redbaiting is an old game. No surprise China’s getting sick of it especially when it has extended NZ so many benefits. NZ preaches to China all the time - “Hong Kong / Tibet / Xinjiang freedoms , Tiananmen Square, Huawei spying, freedom of navigation ” etc. China pushes back a little - a tiny tap on the shoulder of little consequence- and - Luxon : “So inappropriate!” - Juvenile. We lack self awareness. If we want to privilege the relationship with TW above that with the PRC (based on the conditions it sets) we can do that - and suffer the consequences.
@SecRubio Tank Man survived, Marco.
The tanks stopped.
Rachel Corrie's bulldozer didn't stop.
It reversed.
She was 23.
Your government funded the machine that killed her.
"My personal pride and joy." That's how Peter Mandelson described the Palantir deal he brokered.
The whole thing stinks. Kick Palantir out of our NHS, now.
