Till now, we know this happened in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, at the Girls College Re-NEET centre.
Two girls arrived late, and one of them had an old admit card. The father of that girl was seen banging his head against the wrought-iron gates and then falling to the ground in an attempt to persuade the authorities to let his daughter enter the examination hall with an old admit card.
In another instance, in Telangana, the mother of a NEET student was seen falling at the feet of security guards, pleading for permission for her daughter to enter the examination hall after arriving late.

While I completely understand the disappointment of these parents, I am not sure they are sending the right message to their children through such melodramatic actions.
Instead of owning up to mistakes and facing the consequences, they may be teaching them that extreme emotional displays can be used to avoid accountability and the consequences of their actions.
