5v5 has been 📉, & he's become a bit more PP dependent for scoring

@spinohockey agreed. the in-season trades was never going to occur. should have traded in '24 summer, but they barely ever do trades like, unless player asks out. IMO Jets likely werent offering the same structure of contract, Dreger said the Jets are good w/ Perfetti as the new Ehlers (lol).

@HLLivingLoco can't imagine how much you'd complain in the regular season if Ehlers was playing 16ish mins night with Jets version of all-NHLers like Staal and Martinook. They should've traded him in summer 24-25 & parlayed that to help now. the in-season trade was never going to happen.

the YoY PP affect has been noticeable with both CAR and WPG, although WPG's this year was more noticeable with the giant drop off from PP2 which did not include Ehlers
