NITI Aayog convened a high-level Roundtable on "Reimagining ICDS for the Future", chaired by Dr. M. Srinivas, Member, NITI Aayog.

The Roundtable brought together Shri Anil Malik, Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development; senior officials from the Ministry; and experts from government, academia, international organisations, and civil society to deliberate on strengthening the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) to meet India's evolving needs.

The discussions focused on transforming Anganwadi Centres into integrated hubs for early childhood development and women-led development, strengthening nutrition services, improving urban service delivery, empowering the frontline workforce, leveraging technology and convergence, and deepening community participation. The deliberations reaffirmed a shared commitment to building a future-ready ICDS that supports the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

मैं जब कॉलेज में थी, तब पापा ने मुझे कार चलाने के लिए दी। एक दिन बड़ा एक्सीडेंट हो गया। मैं डर गई और मुझे दुबारा कार को हाथ लगाने से डर लगने लगा। तब पापा ने कहा कि जीवन में दुर्घटनाएँ होती रहती हैं, डरकर रुकना नहीं है। आप रास्ते पर चलना नहीं छोड़ सकती।

आज उनकी वही सीख फिर याद आ रही है। कल फिर एक दुर्घटना हुई, लेकिन मैं दिल्लीवासियों के हितों के लिए लड़ना कभी नहीं छोड़ सकती। मेरे जीवन का हर क्षण और शरीर का हर कण दिल्ली के नाम है। मैं इन सभी अप्रत्याशित प्रहारों के बावजूद दिल्ली का साथ कभी नहीं छोड़ूँगी।

वैसे भी, महिलाओं में तकलीफों से लड़ने की दोहरी ताक़त होती है। उन्हें अपने आप को साबित करने के लिए अनगिनत परीक्षाएँ देनी पड़ती हैं। मैं भी तैयार हूँ!

अब जनसुनवाई केवल मेरे घर पर ही नहीं, दिल्ली की हर विधानसभा में होगी। आपकी मुख्यमंत्री, आपके द्वार।
