This was very common reasoning during the Republic. When Afghan forces killed children in a madrasa in Kunduz, US bombed @MSF hospital, or US and AFG Forces conducted airstrikes/night raids, it was justified, 'it's a government' blah blah. A gov can be wrong, VERY wrong

Honestly speaking, the vast majority of Afghans who leave Afghanistan for a brighter future often make false refugee claims in other countries. Such people base their entire case on absolute lies, not realizing at all how defamatory this is for Afghanistan on the international stage. I’ve worked for the @ukhomeoffice & so have first hand experience of the same. It’s genuinely embarrassing how frequently the term “Taliban” is abused for personal gains at every level by manipulative Afghans.

Thanks to @BBCNews for exposing the hypocrisy of some. Now those hypocritical Afghans who are backing these illegal immigrants are doing so because they’ve spent two decades pretending they are the “good guys” vs the Taliban that they’ve painted as the “bad guys”!

May this “we are the good guys” blanket come off soon because these corrupt individuals have now become an economic burden in other countries. At least the Taliban remain in their land & are loyal to it.
