Unity, Identity, and MISSION!!! YES!
I believe it is Mission, our God-given Mission, that empowers our Unity and reinforces our Identity.
It is when we lose sight of MISSION that we begin to struggle with Unity and Identity.
We must always be about our Father's Business!!
Our past holds the keys to our future. When we look back on the remarkable journey of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we find inspiration and lessons that shape our path ahead. Unity, identity, and mission have been the driving forces behind our growth and impact. As we embrace our God-given identity and unite in mission, we can confidently step into the future, proclaiming the Three Angels Messages, and making a difference in the lives of people worldwide. @adventistchurch #160AmniversaryOfSDA
“We honor God when the vision is much larger than our capacity. But our battle is not against flesh and blood so when we become so risk averse that we end up with a small dream, it’s not less risky, it’s just small.” @RTStephensonGC
The reason why most Christians do not understand prophecy is because they have been told by someone, a preacher, a pastor or even their religious leader that these books are scary, too complicated, You cannot understand them, They are not for you, focus on Jesus.
(Which is not a bad thing) but let’s see what the Bible says in revelation chapter 1
“The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servant, the things that must take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John
verse 2: who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.
Verse 3: blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy and blessed are those who hear and keep what is written in it for the time is near when all these things will happen
So it is clear from the first three verses of the book of revelation that the book is a revelation of Jesus Christ and he wants us to know what is written in this book.
so where do we get the notion that this book is not for Christians or only afew people to read and understand
The devil will do anything to prevent us from reading this book because he wants to keep us in darkness so that we do not understand what’s happening and where we are in history.
God is speaking to you today. He wants you to know these things so that you are prepared for the crisis ahead and his second coming.
So if you’ve not read this book before, try to open this Book prayerfully and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you, and if you know something about revelation, please share it , teach it to someone so that we are all prepared becaus it is clear that Jesus wants us to know what is written in this book and be prepared for the events ahead.
Good evening 😊😊
@DrShayPhD Yes!
And it's not accidental nor coincidental that the belief in the Holy Spirit is being attacked today, both inside and outside the Church. The enemy wishes to destroy the power of God in our lives. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is that very power.
Amen! We are living in a time where some of us want to be a little less peculiar (more like the world). I'm reminded of Israel of old, who asked for a king because they wanted to be like other nations. But God did not want them to be like other nations, God deeply desired them to remain set apart...peculiar.
Today God's desire for His people is still the same. I pray to God that we have the courage to be peculiar.
What does being peculiar mean today? I think it means remaining Grounded in the Bible and staying Focused on Mission. What Mission? Seeking to save the lost from every nation and language and tribe and people!
No, this isn’t the Mark of the Beast. But it absolutely shows the world drifting toward the kind of setup Revelation talks about.
We’re watching a shift toward digital identity and tighter central control. Society is moving toward cashless systems, faster transactions, and everyday life tied to devices. People are being trained to accept digital tracking as simple convenience. And all of this makes it easier, one day, for political and religious pressure to be tied to compliance. It’s the quiet construction of the world Revelation describes.
If John had seen a smartphone, a digital ID, and a global system that controls access to life, he would have pointed straight to Revelation 13.
Again, the mark of the beast is about worship and obedience, not technology. But technology is the tool that makes that kind of enforcement possible. In that sense, this is definitely a preview of the world that could make the mark a reality.

Whenever a politician starts talking about America coming back to church, that’s not a moment to clap. If you know prophecy, that’s a moment to pay attention. Revelation never shows this country turning back to God. It shows a nation that talks holy while pulling the world into darkness. That lamb-like image fools people, but the voice is still a dragon’s voice. It uses God’s name, but not God’s truth.
And a bump in prayer meetings or church attendance like I said yesterday, doesn’t mean a thing if the nation keeps tossing aside God’s law, mixing truth with lies, and propping up human traditions. That’s not revival. That’s the warm-up act for the false prophet power Revelation warns about.
This isn’t faith coming back. It’s a counterfeit trying to look genuine. Revelation spelled this out long before our time. So when leaders say, “America is returning to God,” but they refuse to return to God’s Word, that’s not a call to repentance. That’s the setup for the final deception and it seems to be working!
@JenniferJillS @MrsErikaKirk Beautifully said.
In my own experience, forgiveness is a choice we have to make sometimes daily. If we don't, resentment may spring up And we are left feeling as though the person is "getting away with it". Just imagine if God felt this way towards us.
@prertonkohler I went summers during high school and college on the Ultimate Workout mission trips led by Steve Case and Maranatha Volunteers. I learned so much about God & service on those trips.
Going to Panama & El Salvador & Mexico & beyond was transformational for me. I love @maranatha
@JennMGreenberg Sometimes (oftentimes) we should listen first with our heart.
It's a trite statement, but ever so true: people rarely care what you know until they know that you care.
So thankful for my @HagerstownSDA church family. Worshiping with them, growing with them, seeing my kids involved each Sabbath.This is why Hebrews 10:25 encourages us to still assemble together. We realize we are one when we come together as one.
It's the highlight of my week.
