In LG race, the map developing is split geographically: Rasoul winning west of Blue Ridge, Ayala east of the Blue Ridge. Not a winning recipe for Rasoul if that continues. #vagov#vaprimary
As expected, Rasoul winning Southwest in LG race but is he winning by enough? In Buchanan, he leads narrowly (21-19) but in other SW localities he has bigger lead. Currently trails statewide. #vagov#vaprimary
@Redistrict Even with the early vote, I expect Roanoke to be significantly lower than 2017. And that's with an LG candidate from Roanoke. As you say, we'll see.
Turnout light today in #Vagov#vaprimary in Roanoke. In 2017, city had 5,937 voters. We're told early votes this time were 2,200; as of 3 pm, none of city's precincts had more than 100 in-person voters, some much lower. Appears that total vote will come in well below 2017 mark.
Roanoke Times editorial page editor Dwayne Yancey will be posting live election analysis tonight on https://t.co/g188TDQ5bo, with focus on the Virginia races. Check back at 7 pm.
.@roanoketimes editorial: Why does @Harvard have a building named after the author of Virginia's notorious constitution that disenfranchised voters? https://t.co/qZS19rgMNd
@roanoketimes editorial: The @MLB proposal to cut ties w/42 minor league teams is assault on economic competitiveness of American heartland. Who will speak for those cities in labor negotiations? This is a political issue. https://t.co/QXEK9eIRIq

Advisory: I notice on the SBE site that in some races it's showing 100% of the vote in -- meaning the results are final -- but that's not the case. If you click through you'll get the precinct-by-precinct results that show the actual #s. Glitches happen. This is one. #virginia
