@EmmaAbrahamson4 Yes, me too but I figured if this was the last type of xc race PRE did maybe we’ve missed the lesson he was teaching us. Life’s full of obstacles but if we can learn how to get over them together maybe we can inspire others to do the same.
Sawyer Clarkson continues his impressive performances during the 2022 Track and Field season at the Custer Invitational. Quite impressive as this track is located at 5,360 feet which makes it the highest track east of the Rocky Mountains. https://t.co/Q6vVxccLko #trackandfield
@sdbrown_runner Great point. I think it started to spiral out of control when the Olympics were used as political instruments of power. Boycotts in 1956, 1964, 1976, 1980, 1984, and 1988 didn’t make running more popular in the world. There’s hope for this next Gen!
@par_sam_sons Why do pro runners keep running this “Rat Race”? I’m a Brand. Let’s start our own league that’s not chasing the every four year Aristocratic Olympic rings. CrossFit started their own games. Sam…Let’s Go…STEEPLECROSS!
Thank you all for watching Part I & II of my running story. I used running to get myself through some exceedingly difficult years of my life from 1997 to 2010. https://t.co/TZZbWF28Gk
I'm using my transitional leave from the Army to reflect on my past. I wanted to share this video with others as I try to tell my life story through running. No fancy paid editor just me trying to share my story as uncomfortable as it might be. https://t.co/vBSewQatEm
Great athletes perform at their best during the most critical times. They do not allow distractions to interfere with their focus on the present moment. They perform freely with confidence. Through their hard work and preparation, they know they have earned the right to excel.
"I'm an artist, a performer. I want people to appreciate the way I run." Steve Prefontaine
48 years ago, Steve Prefontaine changed the world of running forever. Prefontaine's vision was ahead of the running world. He viewed athletes as artists.
