The murderer in Montreal has been named: Seth Hatfield, from Alberta. He murdered a policeman in a shooting spree in a Jewish neighbourhood in Montreal.

Soon afterwards, government journalists at the CBC and elsewhere started describing a manifesto that he had left behind. But none of them published the actual document — they just quoted the odd phrase from it, and called him an “incel”. That’s a term for someone who was “involuntarily celibate”, or someone who didn’t do well with women. The usual suspects were doing the media circuit claiming that Hatfield was a “right wing” extremist.

But if that was true, why was the manifesto being shown only to selected, government-friendly journalists? Why were the rest of us blocked from seeing it for ourselves?

It’s true that the murderer had extreme ideas about women. But that was only a small part of his world view. In most of the rest of his rambling remarks, he was indistinguishable from left-wing politicians like Bernie Sanders, Avi Lewis, or half the Liberal cabinet.

He praised Communism. He called for the abolition of private property. He railed against the Jews, and Zionism. And — like Mark Carney himself — he demanded the censorship of the Internet.

Israel responded, targeting the Houthis rocket launchers and other military capabilities.

You condemned Israel for "attacking Yemen.

Israel intelligence discovered the Islamic Regime of Iran was close to building a nuclear weapon, so they attacked proactively, targeting military infrastructure, nuclear sites, nuclear scientists.

You condemned Israel, accusing them yet again of "genocide".

The Islamic Regime of Iran responded, firing bombs at civilian centers, hospitals and urban centers.

You celebrate. Or you are silent.

If this is you, you are not "pro-Palestine". You are not "pro" anything.

This is an awful argument. First it’s hardly only Dems writing those op-eds. But second, are we really supposed to be consoled by emphasizing that Trump has no compunction about screwing allies, that peace deals don’t work, so maybe this terrible peace deal won’t work, and that we might just luck out? This has the admirable tenacity of admitting it’s a terrible deal, and then trying to find a reason we might be saved from the terrible!

The Lion and Sun flag dominated the stadium tonight. So FIFA went into overdrive trying to censor it.

At the Iran vs. New Zealand World Cup match, the stadium was flooded with Lion and Sun flags and shirts. Not the flag of the Islamic Republic, but the real flag of Iran. It was everywhere.

Yet if you watched on TV, you wouldn’t see any of it.

The cameras avoided the stands. Crowd shots in the background were blurred. And compared to virtually every other World Cup match so far, there was remarkably little focus on the crowd. Of course, intentional.

They can ban the Lion and Sun from stadiums. They can crop it out of broadcasts. They can try to erase it from the world’s view.

But they cannot erase the reality that thousands upon thousands of Iranians showed up carrying the symbol of a free Iran.

You can censor a flag from a broadcast.

You cannot censor an entire nation.

This woman's comparison of a Nazi Totenkopf to the Israeli flag is the political payoff of the woke left's pro-Hamas propaganda of a "genocide" in the October 7th War in Gaza, which had historically unprecedented low civilian ratio of war deaths and the Gazan population has in fact *increased* during the war.

But thanks to Hasan Piker and others in the woke left embrace of explicit Hamas propaganda and the NY Times, Washington Post, and other media outlets repeating these lies wholesale for 2+ years, an American voter in 2026 can say with a straight face in a public interview that she supports a candidate who proudly had a NAZI tattoo for two decades by comparing it with an Israeli flag tattoo.

This is also a warning of how antisemitism is normalized socially and has in fact become institutionalized in the Democratic Party with Ro Khanna, AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Adam Hamawy, Zohran Mandami, etc., and now Graham Platner, who engages in explicitly antisemitic rhetoric in peddling Jewish conspiracy theories about Jews controlling U.S. politicians and foreign policy.
