I'm happy to announce that the problem with accessing my RUSU emails has been solved. At the moment I'm slowly working through the backlog from the last few months but I am now contactable via [email protected] as well as on social media

The new lift in @UniRdg_Library is open! Big enough for wheelchairs and with a nice smooth ride, they're a lot of fun to use. Catch me going up and down in them this week and possibly for the rest of term
Today my path on and off campus was blocked so I had to go onto the road to get to the library and home again. Since I had walking sticks and I was unsteady on my feet, it was really unsafe and I'm lucky no cars or bikes were coming. #LetMe travel around campus safely
As @RUSU_President and NUS national conference delegate, I hope I can count on Jason's vite to @saveNUStrans and @DefendNUSLib. Please pledge to vote for amendments 12 and 14 and hear the challenges to the estimates. Our diverse students deserve appropriate representation
@Sarahmarieob While I cannot comment publicly on this, I'm glad of your support! Been working on a post for Autism acceptance month for days but it's not wording right. Fighting stereotypes through social media is hard
.@RUSUDisability wants to raise awareness of issues disabled students face on campus. Blocked lifts to broken automatic doors and everything in between, just let her know what you face. Use #LetMe and explain the issue and she’ll present it to the university on your behalf.
I'm in @RUSUtweets until two today to talk about my #LetMe campaign. Want to ask questions? Need to know more? Have a list of accessible buildings and ones that can be improved? Come have a chat and grab some free sweets
Disabled people are 50% less likely to hold formal qualifications. RUSU aims to tackle this by raising awareness of barriers students at Reading face when accessing education. Using #LetMe, tell @RUSUDisability what problems you’re facing and what you think will help.
