like a seed with the potential to bloom planted in the most suitable conditions, it knows you have the power to continually overcome yourself to better serve the people.
Ka Randy’s dictum “bloom where you are planted” will forever be a humbling reminder that the cause could place you in the most unexpected place, yet it places you there because,
“They must be modest and prudent and guard against arrogance and impetuosity; they must be imbued with the spirit of self-criticism and have the courage to correct mistakes and shortcomings in their work. —
What you need, as the example of Mao teaches, is a cultural revolution. Engage, rather than withdraw. Integrate, rather than ostracize. And it requires, again, painstaking and humble work among the masses.
You don’t eradicate a (decadent) culture by merely abolishing the institutions that realize such a culture. Such a culture would simply be left floating in the superstructural space and possibly displaced to other material outlets.

@KentMike12 It can be said that Pnoy was an ally relative to struggles, for example, against the regime of GMA. This alliance was purely in the aim of isolating GMA as the most rabid element of the ruling class.
@dawnangelixx I may not have the idea on how to “araro” but surely the Lumad children do. This is neither about me nor about adulthood. This is about how the poor collectively struggle to resist the structures that made them poor. Child labor should never be normalized and romanticized. 😁
