@SCFCRetro Feb ‘99. 2-0 down to Rochdale after 4 minutes of an AWS tie in an empty Britannia Stadium. I vividly remember looking at the celebrating Rochdale players wondering how much worse it could get. A year later we beat them in the same competition on the way to winning at Wembley

@northstokie That month was arguably as good as it ever got. Reached the semi’s of the League Cup, totally outplayed both Manchester clubs in routine victories and then went and beat Everton 4-3 away with Shaqiri’s sublime goal. These days December’s always seem to be the most awful months…

@bayernoatcake2 Because we had a semi-decent run when he was interim DOF and John Coates is too nice a guy to then not give him the job permanently. John Coates running the club will continue to be a disaster. We need someone with the balls to make tough, unpopular decisions.
