As an Iranian-American, I can asset that this is accurate. Dig deep before trusting anything you see on @BBCBreaking, @CNN , @TheAtlantic , and @nytimes about Iran and the Islamic Republic.
Iran's regime invested in a vast foreign lobby of journalists, scholars, and NGO advocates precisely for this moment. On PBS, BBC, CNN, etc I am hearing their talking points and little else. No wonder people in the West can't understand why the Iranian people welcome this war.
This video about Iran needs to go viral. It beautifully explains what we Iranians are feeling and thinking right now.
Please help us Iranians in our revolution by fighting against the propaganda.
Please watch and share.
I wish more people in the US realized just how much optimism the United States creates for people all over the world.
The country is far from perfect, but it's so unbelievably amazing.
To the American people: this is a long-awaited, seminal moment in world history. The Iranian people have risen up yet again, demanding an end to their oppression and misery, perpetuated by the ayatollah and his murderous regime.
The Iranian people are not protesting regarding a nuclear deal. They are protesting because they are tired of living miserable, fearful lives. They are tired of living in a country where a 16-year-old girl can be beaten to death for not wearing a scarf correctly. They are tired of the radicalism and the hate, and the embrace of the darkness.
To the American people: if Iran’s ayatollah, the largest state sponsor of terrorism on the planet, is replaced by people who want a better life for themselves and their children – it will make us safer and more prosperous at home.
God bless President Trump for urging the people to keep protesting and saying help is on the way. The regime is incredibly weak. Nothing is without risk.
Make Iran Great Again.
@McFaul It is necessary given the scale of the protests, which has been unprecedented, and helps prevents a lot more casualties. It will help the democratic movement without a doubt.

While many around the world are enjoying worldcup, this enjoyment have been taken away from many Iranians including kids by being murdered by islamic republic because of their peaceful protests. In this pic you can see few of their faces. #SayTheirNames#IRNUSA#QatarWorldCup2022
@Tania4D7, if you'd like to have a hijab day go for it but I respectfully ask you to issue an apology for using the name of a person that was killed because of it. This is appalling. #MahsaAmini
Just disgusting and beyond comprehension. You use the name of the person who got kill because of not following the hijab’s law in Iran to celebrate Hijab Day in the US? How messed up is that???? Am I just too angry or is this the new low? Shame shame shame ... #MahsaAmini
Boston city councillor Tania Fernandes Anderson introduced a resolution to recognize Mahsa Amini's birthday as the "day of women's right to self expression, Boston's Hijab Day".
Amini died as a result of not following the Islamic Republic of Iran's hijab laws.
