The expectation is that Dak will remain on the roster for the rest of the year, though the same may not be true for his starting QB role.
Dak is FAR from New York's problem, but he hasn't been the superstar they wanted him to be through 7 games.
Word around the Jets facilities are not good for Dak; A potential repeat of what we saw last season with Aaron Rodgers.
Dak is in a contract year and was looking to potentially cash in for $45m+ per year with the Jets.
For the defending champion Jets, they went out and acquired a star QB in Dak Prescott. The ground game is buzzing. Yet they sit at 4-3.
I am looking at you WR room. They are bottom 8 in passing yards, and their starting 2 WRs have as many drops as TDs. They NEED to step it up.
All the goofy hype around teams like KC, NYG, Tennessee, SF, MIA, etc are a waste of your time.
No slight to those teams, they've done amazing work this year and should be proud of the growth.
But this year is Chargers vs Bears, far as I am concerned no other team matters.

This game accounted for 40% of Josh Allen's TD passes on the season.
Though, in a year where turnovers are going nuts, a 5-2 ratio speaks more to the Giants carefulness than anything to me.
Will be looking to Allen to make big strides in the 2nd half of the season.
The Giants win 34-31 despite the Panthers’ surge at the end.
Josh Allen threw two touchdowns, both to Sean Tucker, who had 3 total TDs.
3 picks for our defense.
Onto Philly!
This has to be the Titans year! Talk about peak of the window. Tua has been the best QB in the league for the last 20 regular season games and is showing no signs of letting up. The addition of Marcus Lattimore continues to inspire.
Someone call Darrell Mudpuck, this is it!
Now we wait for Las Vegas vs Indianapolis tonight to set the stage for the AFC.
Will it be the Raiders overwhelming passing attack and efficiency or will the Colts carry the momentum from the massive Chiefs game into the biggest game of the year?
Fun fact: Despite each of the games in this miraculous run coming down to the final possession, Ricky Chapstick Super Bowls have never been close games.
S43 - 8-44 vs BAL (L)
S55 - 14-33 vs LAC (L)
S60 - 6-27 vs LAC (L)
S72 - 42-25 vs MIA(W)
S76 - 16-41 vs BAL (L)
S84 - ?
@RzRamesu I only get one vote. Justin Herbert is an incredible talent and deserves to be in the MVP race, but in my opinion he wasn't even the most valuable on his own roster.
Thanks for the view!
We can also talk about coach Biggs, coach Darryl, even coach Russ' winning a super bowl in his first season. Don't read this as doomsaying. It's just the reality we have to deal with and a staff that has no plans to vacate their position after this year, unlike those others.
To be clear - this season is over. It's rare to see a new coaching staff do what is being done, but this staff comes from a place of survival. The Bucs are led by a group who have mastered playing just above the line of illegal in order to win.
17-0. Super Bowl. It's over.
Though rare, this is not unprecedented. This is absolutely NO different than what we saw with legendary coach Cory Astin's quick rise to fame, but much like him, the league will find counters and ways to adjust.
The 2008 Dolphins know all about shocking the system. Same thing.
@ClintOldenburg@keylimesoda @steve_galer @NeonSportz@MaddenNFLDirect You gotta feel for Clint here. It's super unfair to be the guy who gets all the public heat because of the incompetence of his corporate overlords.
Thanks for staying cordial & transparent, Clint. A better man than most of us.
