@tojulius The idea of new skillsets required to connect through these new mediums is so crucial. We are no longer constrained to the logistical perfection expected pre-covid. Qe must use this time to test, ideate, and retest, to figure out those specific needs for the community we serve.

As your expertise increases throughout your career, you can slowly move to a niche with high levels of thought leadership.

Incredible insights from @hardcastlegedde on Experiential Marketing. We must move beyond a logistical mindset to that of a media/content producer. There will always be a need to innovate, so be sure to lean on those leaders outside of the industry as well.
@themiceblogHQ Going beyond ways to enhance your playbook, I look to new related professions. Being in experiential marketing, I have started to do alot of training in Digital & ABM marketing, knowing that through recovery we will be battling for wallet share against these principles.
@themiceblogHQ I think the definition should actually be driven by the size/resources of the team supporting the event. Virtual events, need to be hyper personalized &should feel small. I am starting to view larger events, more along the lines of media productions from a strategy standpoint.
Very timely topic for all of those within the experiential industry. One common theme when joining events, is once you join, it is hard to ever leave. Unfortunately, COVID is challenging that framework, but there are still opportunities to grow through a recovery.
