Kasavanahalli & Bellandur's dry waste centre: 3-4 tons a day, 30,000 homes. Playing a key role in keeping the wards clean.
Yet ..No power. No water. 250 tons of LVP piled up: a fire hazard. Over half the plot encroached.
@comm_blr_south connect power and water, lift the LVP, investigate the encroachment.

Sewage overflow since Ganesh Chathurthi and continuing still even after Gandhi Jayanthi
Escalated to bwssb but they are unable to address this issue
Thanks to them - now all potholes are clearly visible and helping people avoid them. #FixHaralurRoad@comm_blr_south@MALimbavali@krishnabgowda

It's time to give Harlur Road the focus and treatment it deserves!
Hundreds of residents from the locality joined a peaceful walk on Swacchta Diwas 2026 to demand urgent infrastructure facelift and emphasis on garbage collection from GBA and the state government!

When hundreds of residents have to walk the streets to demand the basics—clean neighbourhoods, working drains, safe roads and usable footpaths, something is seriously broken.
This isn’t a protest for privileges. It’s citizens asking for the civic services they already deserve.
Haralur needs time-bound action, not assurances. The walk should end; the accountability must not.

What do you do when one of elected representatives says maybe your road is not that important to state govt. We come on road with our MLA . Doesn't staegivt. Know how important is harlur road. V r most important road that connects electronic City to rest of the outer ring road.
This is what normalisation looks like.
When broken roads, garbage, missing footpaths and unsafe public spaces become “just another day,” we stop demanding better.
It shouldn’t be normal. Haralur deserves better. Bengaluru deserves better.

It takes great courage—and a lot of luck—to walk through this chaos. How do we make our roads safer for our children when footpaths are uneven, roads are narrow, and two-wheelers weave through every available space? Our children deserve better. #FixHaralurRoad#kasavanahalli@krishnabgowda@comm_blr_south
