Kasavanahalli & Bellandur's dry waste centre: 3-4 tons a day, 30,000 homes. Playing a key role in keeping the wards clean.
Yet ..No power. No water. 250 tons of LVP piled up: a fire hazard. Over half the plot encroached.
@comm_blr_south connect power and water, lift the LVP, investigate the encroachment.

Thanks to Citizen Volunteers in Bengaluru, the City somehow survives every day. Its time clean the rot in the system. We were told that GBA and the split in to five corporations will be game changer. Things are only getting worse. We deserve better infrastructure and services.
Yesterday, rainwater jammed the Nayandahalli flyover. A citizen, Shivakumar (Insta: @vishvitha51), climbed into the clogged drain, cleared the filth himself, and got traffic moving.
This is not Brand Bengaluru. It is Garbage Bengaluru. GBA and the state government should be ashamed that residents are doing the job they are paid to do.
🚨 URGENT: Choodasandra Circle (Nandhini Junction) needs immediate attention!
Dear @BDAOfficialGok@Captain_Mani72 sir,
Choodasandra Circle on Jail Road, connecting Electronic City with the Bellandur IT corridor, is already one of the region’s major traffic choke points. Congestion here routinely spills over towards Kudlu/Hosur Road, Harlur and Sarjapur–Bellandur, creating severe gridlocks.
Amid this existing traffic chaos, how was approval given for Lodha Haven here, and it's exit gate to directly join the signal at #Choodasandra Circle?
This is a serious traffic-planning concern. Adding a major residential exit directly at the signal could further disrupt traffic flow and create additional conflict points at an already overloaded junction.
More importantly, emergency vehicles such as ambulances are already struggling to pass through this choke point. Any further obstruction could have serious consequences.
🙏 We urge the concerned authorities to immediately review the access plan and instruct Lodha Haven not to connect its layout road directly to the Choodasandra signal.
Please act before the problem becomes irreversible.

Sewage overflow since Ganesh Chathurthi and continuing still even after Gandhi Jayanthi
Escalated to bwssb but they are unable to address this issue
Thanks to them - now all potholes are clearly visible and helping people avoid them. #FixHaralurRoad@comm_blr_south@MALimbavali@krishnabgowda
🚨 How to unchoke Sarjapur Road in 30 days without building massive flyovers:
Two flawed median cuts freeze entire sarjapura commute:
📍 Haralur Rd (Fire Station / Ananda Sweets)
📍 Hosa Rd (Opposite St. Peter's School)
💡 The Fix:
Carve 2.5m dedicated U-turn queuing pockets from existing medians.
Install 100m parallel channelized slip lanes to stop vehicles from cutting across 3 lanes at 90 degrees.
Shift the St. Peter's median cut 120m downstream to eliminate school-gate gridlock.
Zero signals. Continuous straight flow on Sarjapur Main Road. 100k+ commuters saved daily.
Sir @krishnabgowda@GBAChiefComm@bellandurutrfps@blrcitytraffic - Give this corridor the same tactical engineering push as Gunjur-Varthur! 🧵👇 #FixSarjapurRoad #BengaluruTraffic

@krishnabgowda recent push along the Varthur–Gunjur corridor emphasizes fast-tracking land acquisition while immediately clearing roadside encroachments to maximize usable width. Extending this same aggressive land-clearing model and a targeted TDR framework to Sarjapur Road would incentivize commercial owners to surrender frontage, unlocking the crucial width needed for dedicated U -turn pockets without endless legal delays.

Haralur Road deserves better. Garbage dumps, toxic smoke, overflowing drains, broken footpaths and dangerous potholes have become our daily reality.
Despite countless complaints, little changes on the ground.
It’s time to come together and demand the clean, safe, walkable and breathable neighbourhood we deserve.

Bright, sunshiny morning!
And of course, a mile-long traffic jam.
This is DAST Rd off Haralur Road, where large apartments are located, and this is the only access out of the area.
The connecting roads are missing in reality!
High-rise living, low-standard civic facilities.
#Kasavanahalli Ward is becoming a dump yard—garbage piled on roads and waste burning, filling our neighbourhood with toxic smoke.
We pay our taxes. We deserve basic civic services.
