At 2 p.m., he had me called from the school..

He asked my caste and said, You believe in untouchability.

SP Antony said, ‘You will drink water from a Basor!!’ I said, ‘If the water is given hygienically, I will drink it.’ Then I was given water mixed with what appeared to be mud or cow dung in a dirty glass to drink..

When I refused, all my clothes were removed in the middle of the road.. I was beaten with sticks.. Several other people were also stripped of their clothes and beaten..

Then all of us were sent to jail..

SP Antony had false cases registered against innocent people..

I am deeply hurt and distressed by this humiliation.. I no longer want to live.

मैंने 5-6 साल पहले एक किताब पढ़ी थी। उसमे ऑथर ने लिखा था की आगे आने वाले वर्षों में भारत में कोई भी परीक्षा बिना पेपर लीक कराना लगभग असंभव हो जाएगा।

उसके पीछे उनका लॉजिक बड़ा सिंपल था। उनका कहना था कि नैतिकता कोई जेनेटिक नहीं है। माता पिता, स्कूल, समाज बच्चे को नैतिक बनाते है। भारतीय समाज को समाजवाद ने पूरी तरह, utterly, भ्रष्ट कर दिया है। पिता को बच्चे नोटो की गड्डी के साथ घर आते देखते है।

सरकारी कॉलोनी में रह रहे सत्यनिष्ठ अधिकारी को उसका ही परिवार मूर्ख कहता है। उसकी बेटी देखती है कि पड़ोस के भ्रष्ट अधिकारी ने बेटी के लिए आईएएस दामाद ख़रीद लिया है, उसके स्वयं के विवाह के लाले पड़े है दहेज न होने के कारण। बच्चे स्कूल जाते है तो देखते है कि मास्टर जी कुछ पढ़ाते नहीं है, ट्यूशन पर आने को कहते है।

इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज तक में तो अध्यापकों ने घर पर ट्यूशन पढ़ाना आरम्भ कर दिया है अपने छात्रों को। समाज में चारो ओर देखते है बच्चे कि बिना रिश्वत दिए ट्रैफिक सिग्नल पर खड़ा सिपाही नहीं मानता है। गैस सिलिंडर देने आया कर्मचारी “एक्स्ट्रा” कुछ माँगता है।

इस परिवेश में पलता कोई बच्चा नैतिक होगा?

हम किसे …….. बना रहे है …….. ? किसे?

अमेरिका में आपने देखा होगा कि हर राष्ट्रपति के उम्मीदवार, सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज के लिए चयनित व्यक्ति, के विरुद्ध उसकी कोई कॉलेज की सहपाठी ब्लात्कार का आरोप लेकर आ जाती है। मतलब clean व्यक्ति मिलने असंभव हो चले है वहाँ। केवल भारत में ही नहीं दुनिया भर में। पतन इतना शीघ्र होता है समाज का।

तो NEET या कोई भी परीक्षा कराने वाले कहाँ से लाए जाएँगे? इसी समाज से तो आयेंगे। मंगल ग्रह वालो से तो अभी संपर्क हुआ नहीं है।

साथ में फिर डिमांड सप्लाई का भी फैक्टर है। समाजवाद के कारण नौकरियां/करियर बहुत कम है। एक ही परीक्षा का परिणाम पूरे जीवन को बना/बिगाड़ सकता है। इसलिए पेपर की डिमांड बहुत अधिक है। लोग कुछ भी मूल्य देने को तैयार है।

इस परिवेश में लोग पूछते है कि पेपर लीक क्यों हो रहे है। एक व्यक्ति, केजरीवाल, आया था कि लोकपाल बना कर इस भ्रष्टाचार को समाप्त करेगा। किसी ने ये नहीं पूछा उससे कि आप लोकपाल कौन से ग्रह से लाने वाले हो। ये भी कह रहा था कि उसे मैग्सेसे अवार्ड मिला है इसलिए उसके पास दिव्यदृष्टि है। सरकार बनी उसकी, एक मंत्री फर्जी डिग्री में पकड़ा गया, दूसरा राशन कार्ड के बदले महिलाओं का यौन शोषण करता पकड़ा गया। ये उसकी दिव्य दृष्टि थी।

इस भ्रष्टाचार, इस mad rush for a leaked पेपर, को समाप्त करने के एकमात्र उपाय, समाजवाद की समाप्ति, की बात करने का प्रयास करो तो सत्ता में बैठे हर पक्ष के लोग ऐसे भड़कते है कि जैसे कोई high blasphemy कर दी हो। मतलब समाजवाद को समाप्त करने पर तो बात ही नहीं हो सकती है। वो तो settled science है।

तो सार यही है कि भारतीय समाज पिछहत्तर साल के समाजवाद के बाद पूरी तरह, utterly भ्रष्ट हो चुका है। इसी समाज से पेपर setters, पेपर ट्रांसपोर्टर्स, इन्विजिलेटर्स आते है, उत्तर चेक करने वाले आते है।

और इसी देश में ऐसे एग्ज़ाम्स है कि तुक्के से भी पास कर लो तो हजारों करोड़ रिश्वत में कमा सकते हो, नहीं तो सड़क पर घिसटने के लिए हवाई चप्पल तक खरीदने के लाले पड़े रहेंगे पूरा जीवन, क्यूंकि समाजवाद के कारण अन्य कोई आर्थिक गतिविधि संभव ही नहीं है। तो इंसेंटिव भी है और weak नैतिकता वाला पूरा अमला भी है।

पेपर लीक होते रहेंगे, लोगो के राजनैतिक करियर बनते रहेंगे पेपर लीक रोकने के वादे कर।

लेकिन जब तक देश में समाजवाद है तब तक कुछ भी बदलेगा नहीं।

लीक लोकपाल बनाओगे तो वो भी रिश्वतखोरी की दुकान ही खोलेगा या, परीक्षा देने वाली लड़कियों का यौन शोषण करेगा।

ढोंग से मनुष्य मूर्ख बनते है, प्रकृति नहीं।

India could have been a semiconductor superpower in 1964 but Congress spent the next 50 years making sure every opportunity was killed before it started, the story of what we lost becomes impossible to read without anger.

In 1964 Robert Noyce, the co-founder of Intel, came to India with a complete blueprint to make this country the global leader in chip manufacturing. He did not come empty handed. He came with the technology, the vision and the intent to build something that would have changed India's trajectory for generations.

Congress sent him to 50 government offices.

He got tired. He left. He went to Hong Kong. And Hong Kong's fortunes changed instead of ours.

That was not bad luck. That was a policy outcome.

The story did not end there. In 1989 India's only chip plant, SCL Mohali, burned down in a fire. The government took 8 years to rebuild it. 8 years. In a sector where technology generations turn over faster than most government files get processed.

Then 2005. Intel was ready to bring a 700 million dollar plant to India. UPA government refused to offer tax incentives. Intel walked. In the same era AMD's imported equipment sat at Indian ports for years gathering dust before being sent back to the country it came from.

By 2014 India did not have a single commercial chip fabrication plant. Not one.

The country that produces a significant portion of the world's semiconductor engineers. The country that built ISRO's computational infrastructure. The country whose mathematicians and scientists power Silicon Valley. Had zero chip plants of its own after 50 years of governance that treated every serious investor like a bureaucratic inconvenience.

Now look at the last 12 years.

Over 25 billion dollars committed under India's Semiconductor Mission. Micron's plant operational in Gujarat. 80,000 wafers being produced monthly at Taloja. Tata's Assam plant packaging 48 million chips daily. Tata Electronics partnering with ASML for the Dholera fab. India entering the semiconductor supply chain that three countries controlled for decades.

The talent was always here.

The difference between 1964 and 2024 is not technology. It is not capital. It is not engineering capability.

It is a government that finally said yes instead of sending the investor to the 51st office.
