As you probably know, @Columbia canceled its traditional main graduation event.

Of course, we all know why.

They canceled it because they were afraid of what might happen.

They canceled it because they've already seen what the pro-Hamas crowd is capable of.

They canceled it because they didn't know how to safeguard the event from the pro-Hamas mob.

Take a moment to think about that:

The actions of an extremist student organization forced @Columbia to cancel graduation.

Out of safety concerns.

Terrorism is an ideology. It manifests in many ways.

Yet, the only way to defeat it is to stand up for it.

We must force @Columbia to give a proper graduation to those who deserve it.

So here's the thing: I'm going to ask you to sign a petition. But here's why:

You and I both know that @Columbia's administration couldn't care less about petitions. But that's not the point.

The more people sign it, the more the media will feel pressured to report it. That's the point.

The point is to show the world that we are here.
The point is to raise the alarm.
The point is to do something.
Anything.
