माननीय मुख्य न्यायाधीश ने अपनी मेहनत, लगन और योग्यता के दम पर समाज के सारे बंधनों को तोड़कर सर्वोच्च न्यायिक पद हासिल किया है। उनपर इस तरह का हमला न्यायपालिका और लोकतंत्र - दोनों के लिए घातक है। इसकी जितनी निंदा की जाए, कम है।

पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम के विभिन्न हिस्सों में भारी बारिश और भूस्खलन के कारण कई लोगों की मौत और कई अन्य के लापता होने की ख़बर बेहद दुखद है।

मैं प्रभावित परिवारों के प्रति गहरी संवेदनाएं व्यक्त करता हूं और लापता लोगों के जल्द से जल्द सुरक्षित मिलने की आशा करता हूं।

प्रशासन से अपील है कि राहत और बचाव कार्यों में और तेज़ी लाई जाए। केंद्र सरकार से आग्रह है कि स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए तत्काल प्रभावित राज्यों को आवश्यक सहायता उपलब्ध कराए।

The Draft Report on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024, was just sent to us JPC members—a massive 655 pages! And now we’ve been called to meet tomorrow at 10 AM to consider and adopt this report.

How are we supposed to read, understand, and propose changes to something so important in just a few hours? It’s impossible, and they know it.

This is how the BJP operates—rushing through processes, silencing voices, and pushing their agenda to take control of Waqf properties. This isn’t just about land; it’s about our rights, our identity, and our community’s future.

We can’t let this happen. We have to stand up and oppose this together.
