2 senators cannot be allowed to defeat what 48 senators and 210 House members want. We must stand with the working families of our country. We must combat climate change. We must delay passing the Infrastructure Bill until we pass a strong Reconciliation Bill.
I’m not gonna lie, 24/7 Harrison is a lot of three year-old boy 😂 but really. He was so good this week and helped me so much. Proud of him. #bigbrother#harrisoncrossman#threeyearsold#park https://t.co/30G5mpKAcZ

Congratulations to Speaker Pelosi and House Democrats for passing the $3.5 trillion Budget Resolution. Now, let us move forward aggressively to transform this country by passing both the Reconciliation Bill and the Infrastructure Bill. Working families are counting on us.
The media was so desperate to show that it could criticize Both Sides™ that it INSTANTLY declared our departure from Afghanistan a failure, only to watch the US airlift a staggering 70,700 people out of Afghanistan in the last 10 days without a single American death.
Thank you to @SpeakerPelosi and every Democrat who came together to advance our Build Back Better Agenda in the House. The House’s historic vote is a huge step forward in our work to restore America’s economy, rebuild our infrastructure, and invest in our shared future.

Also, I eat hot dogs.

To recap, we spent over $2 trillion on an unwinnable war in a country that fell the instant we left but we "can't afford" to protect Americans from death by giving them affordable health care.
We went to Afghanistan almost 20 years ago with clear goals: get those who attacked us on September 11, 2001—and make sure al Qaeda could not use Afghanistan as a base from which to attack us again.
We did that—a decade ago.
Our mission was never supposed to be nation building.
