Reading the @DSC_Charity #FundraisingStrategy book prompted a good discussion as the sector/world is changing so quickly - when and what benchmarking can be done? Factoring in sample size, the cause, charity size 🤷‍♀️tricky!

As more details of the huge #UKAid cuts emerge, we are seeing the devastating real world impacts.

As @WaterAidUK say, there is never a good time to cut aid for lifesaving water & sanitation, but the middle of the worst pandemic for 100 years must be one of the worst.

Not even a mention on the news tonight about 80% cuts to WASH funding, instead the headlines focus on political squabbles in parliament. I thought COVID highlighted how interconnected our world is and important out natural environment for survival....
