John Tamihere’s charity group the Waipareira Trust has doubled its managers salaries so they are now the highest-paid charity executives across the ENTIRE country. Not to mention he is the current President of The Māori Party. Their average senior salary is over 500k.

It’s one thing to have a business you are creaming a profit from but taking that sort of excess from a charity that’s meant to help underprivileged Māori with their healthcare? Wow.
