Your career should not cost you your body.
You can be ambitious.
Work long hours.
Build your business.
Attend meetings.
Take courses.
Grow your career.
But your body should not have to pay the price for it.
As a physiotherapist, I want to help remote workers and digital professionals:
โ Work with less pain
โ Build healthier work habits
โ Set up their workspaces better
โ Move more during long workdays
โ Protect their bodies while building the life they want
Because productivity means very little if your body can not keep up.
I am starting here.
If you work from a laptop for hours every day, you are in the right place.
I love love.
Yeah, I love love.
I love the idea of marriage. I genuinely desire to be loved by my man and I have enough love to give too. Like, enough love to give. โค๏ธ
You donโt need to have the entire week figured out today.
You just need to know the next right thing to do.
Do that.
Then do the next one.
That is enough. โค๏ธ
@Racheal_Afe We must learn to prioritise the wellbeing of the patient including our health as well, because we are potential patients. This is how healthy care is done

@little_eleos I started physiotherapy as soon as they discovered it, and it helped a lot, now i just gotta keep training and doing exercises from the physician to keep the pain away
@Racheal_Afe A number of health care workers are coming down with lumbar apindylosis and standing after sitting for 30 minutes is one lifestyle modification I could sel them about.
Thank you for this reminder.
I always say no one can make me feel inferior without my consent.
If you like what you do, you'd do it like a King or Queen and this post here says so much about that.
I'm never one to look down on what others do and when I see it subtly done, I try to point people away from it.
One thing I really appreciate about healthcare is that no single profession can do it all.
We are a team.
Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, dental professionals and others all have different roles, but we are working towards the same goal: the patientโs well-being.
Be proud of what you studied. Know your scope and work within your limits.
As a physiotherapist, if I identify a red flag which is something that could indicate a serious medical problem, like severe neurological symptoms, unexplained weight loss, serious infection, chest pain or difficulty breathing, I refer appropriately.
Nurses refer too. Doctors refer too. Every profession should refer when a patient needs expertise beyond their scope.
That is what multidisciplinary healthcare should look like.
We donโt need to blur professional identities to work together.
Understand your role. Respect other professions. Work within your scope. Know when to refer.
At the end of the day, the patient comes first.
@Wealth_ese1 It is really saddening. Imagine being abducted simply because you were on your way to serve your country.
The government really need to do something on the safety of corps members.

20 prospective corps members were abducted on their way to camp, from Ibadan, heading to serve in states most of them had probably never set foot in before.
They hadn't even started serving yet. They were kidnapped on the road, simply trying to answer the call to serve their country.
This is not the first time, and if nothing changes, it won't be the last.
NYSC deployment should take geography and security seriously. Posting young graduates to unfamiliar regions, often through roads with a known history of attacks, is a risk nobody signed up to carry for a mandatory service year.
There's a real case for allowing more corps members to serve closer to home, or at least to regions with family, familiarity, and stronger security coverage, especially as insecurity in parts of the country continues.
Patriotism shouldn't come with this much exposure to danger before service even begins.
Praying for the safe return of every corps member still in captivity.
Mummy Junior gave birth in January.
At the naming ceremony, a total of 500,000 naira was raised for the baby.
The pastor told her to open a bank account and keep the money safe for the child.
Mummy Junior knew better.
That money would lose real value just sitting in a bank account.
So she opened an equity mutual fund in the baby's name instead.
The fund is up 60% year to date.
That 500,000 naira is now worth 800,000 naira. In under a year.
Now imagine she leaves it untouched.
If the fund averages just 30% a year for 10 years, that 500,000 naira becomes almost 6.9 million naira by the time the child turns 10.
No extra contributions. No stress. Just time and patience doing the work.
Don't spend that baby's money. Put it to work in their name.
Yes I'm a Doctor but I am first a Christian and I believe there are some spiritual attacks that have physical manifestations.
Does this mean every illness should be dismissed under spiritual attack?
No.
However we should also be careful not to absolutely dismiss the possibility that the spiritual controls the physical.
This week,
I walk in all God has for me
I recover everything I've lost!;
I walk in total victory
Nothing will stop me,
I will not be defeated!
I will excel in all areas of my life
