The King has appointed Richard Thompson to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) - The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Preston Magistrates’ Court with effect from 16 January 2023.

Update: yesterday we lost my beautiful boy Blue. He unfortunately contracted the doggy sickness bug which we believe led to him developing septic peritonitis which the vets couldn’t treat. He was the most beautiful charismatic and extra dog. I will miss him forever..

I am just pleased that he is no longer in pain. He was the best dog in the world!!!

Blue was taken straight to the vets on Saturday and then twice on Tuesday but his temperature and symptoms weren’t really concerning until just before his heart stopped. If you think your dog has it get a ultrasound to make sure it hasn’t infected their tummy like Blues did.
