Servant of Christ. Writer at Cranberry Tea Time. Author of Hope for the Hard Days. Chronically ill wife and mom. Living with dysautonomia. Depending on grace.
I am working on a follow up post to my blog post from October, "Homebound Saints Need the Body of Christ." Do you have a question or anything you would like me to address? https://t.co/HbcFV3FouX
If you could use some ideas of ways to pray for someone who is suffering, I recommend I'm Praying for You by @NancyGuth3. This book is filled with biblical wisdom and helpful direction on ways to pray. https://t.co/aLQU5sICzZ
When we go through suffering, or when we know someone who is suffering, it can be hard to know how to pray. We often pray for relief, but we may struggle to know what to pray for beyond that... https://t.co/aLQU5sI4Kr
I have a little story to tell you today. It is from nearly 30 years ago when I was new to life with dysautonomia. It’s a story I have told very few people, and I recently decided that it needs to have a place on my blog.

It was 5 a.m. My husband, Will, and I woke to a clattering sound in the apartment. Soon we heard sobbing, and we watched as our youngest came running into our bedroom. https://t.co/xQWMSdrITz
Beverly Schlomann encourages to keep our minds set on eternal things while we go about our temporal tasks, trusting in God's sovereignty through it all. https://t.co/vDX9qGjscL
Did you know that we have a support group for chronic pain and illness? We know there is such a need for those who struggle with this to have community and support from people who understand. We meet every Friday at 1p EST.
IT'S LAUNCH DAY!
May every page point you to tangible and loving ways to be aware of the impact of trauma and give you clear steps toward the hope and peace our God provides.
It takes a village to write a book of this caliber and you all are that village. Thank you!
Some of the blessings we experience are wrapped in some pretty rough paper, aren't they? We can get so confused by what God allows in our lives. But, even when His ways confuse us, we can trust His kind heart and unwavering character.
It is always a blessing to speak at the @diamonds_conf. This year I had to show up from bed for my live Q&A. But I praise the Lord for His sustaining grace, and I'm thankful that I could show up, even with weakness and fatigue and brain fog.
Meet Rachel Lundy (@RachelELundy), one of your speakers at the #DiamondsConference which starts TODAY! 🎉 Rachel lives with dysautonomia and holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies. She will be speaking tomorrow on "Courage for Today." 💎
