@Luis519RS@SalobreMon47 Then Zuko would’ve never been able to reach her at any point. Any attempt to help her would’ve been a betrayal of both the fire nation and Ozai to her, and betrayal is enough incentive for her to let go of any affection she had for him
@Luis519RS@SalobreMon47 I’ll rephrase and say that deep down she had some love for Zuko, but she was deadass trying to kill him both at the air temple and in their Agni Kai. Even as a kid, she gleefully watched him get maimed and banished by her father
@Luis519RS@SalobreMon47 Iroh was always close to Zuko. Iroh was able to send Zuko down the right path because he had a connection to him. Azula (for the most part) didn’t really give a damn about Iroh or Zuko. Quite literally, neither would’ve been able to reach her
the hate the “she’s got help” scene gets genuinely irritates me because it meant the absolute world to 14 y/o me. when thor, tony and steve team up, it’s “peak,” but when the strongest women in the mcu finally get their moment, suddenly it’s “cringe.”
