Planting new trees doesn’t magically undo the destruction of an entire ecosystem. You cannot replace centuries of biodiversity with a few saplings. Companies that destroy our natural resources should face severe penalties, including permanent closure when warranted. We’ve reached a point where protecting the planet is treated as optional, and that needs to change.

@eli_pechlat It was so gorgeous! Not the easiest hike but so worth it. The crowds are insane during peak fall colors but there weren’t as many on this trail. I’d definitely recommend it if you can swing it!
