Sea slugs are famous for their vibrant and psychedelic colorful appearance, making them one of the most photographed creatures in the ocean!

They live in coastal areas all around the world - even in Arctic & Antarctic waters!

I got a chance to see one this year in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Whenever I see flowers like this, I think to myself that these would be perfect as skirts for fairies

@bresla_linda @nvolpewild They are sea slugs! These little creatures are very well known for their incredibly vibrant colors and live in coastal areas all around the world - even in Arctic and Antarctic regions 🐌 I found this one on a rocky shore off the coast of Glasgow.

@mooseincrisis Fun fact: when a moose or deer shed their antlers, it sometimes takes only months for them to disappear.

Why? Because they are incredibly rich in minerals like calcium or phosphorus that are scarce in the winter. So rodents, porcupines, deer, foxes, and bears gnaw on them!

Whenever I go to the supermarket, I feel so disconnected from the origins of my food.

I want to have a relationship with the people that grow my food, know where it comes from, and be assured that they take good care of the Earth.
