I am honored to have the opportunity to continue serving the people of Northern Utah.
Utahns chose steady conservative leadership and a proven record of delivering results. I’m focused on the issues that matter most to our families and communities: affordability, jobs and wages, cutting taxes, fiscal responsibility, national defense, protecting our values, and securing critical funding for our state.
I am grateful for the trust Utahns have placed in me and look forward to ensuring Utah has a strong voice at the table.
Together, we will fight for conservatives to maintain and expand our House Majority this fall so we can keep advancing the policies that strengthen our nation.
@rachelle_morris I just said Blake had a publicly advertised event with live Q&A last week. So do you want us to advertise townhalls or not? Because you’re alleging that communicating with constituents is corrupt and you’re simultaneously complaining that we aren’t advertising to constituents?
@hauserdan I can absolutely see the issue. You want Blake to not be in office and you’re frustrated he keeps winning so you’re grasping at straws because the truth hurts: he’s an excellent rep who is doing a great job.
@carolyn_phippen Hi Carolyn, the mom comment is because I’m introducing myself to those who are making this into an us versus them in a flurry of coordinated attacks alleging that “they” are breaking the law. I’m they. Hello.
Many thanks to @OutnumberedFNC for discussing my latest bill as part of the broader movement to create a pro-family culture and empower parents to make the best decisions for their family. It’s important to get kids playing outside—and I’m not taking a position on ding dong ditching!
@NormieUtah This is blatantly false…but casting aspersions and calling people disgusting swamp drug dealers from an anonymous account is I guess your best practice.
@hauserdan It is obviously not a “loophole” or “tone deaf” to communicate with constituents. In fact, many constituents demand communication from their representative.
@mjolley22@hobocita It would be wild if constituent communication was “clearly unethical.” I’d argue it’d be unethical to not communicate to constituents.
@hauserdan@mjolley22 If constituent communication makes us tone deaf simply because some people on X are complaining and reposting weird AI ads, then I guess we are tone deaf. But I have a feeling you’d equally spin Blake NOT communicating with constituents if he didn’t.
@carolyn_phippen@rachelle_morris It’s “immoral” now to communicate with constituents? We believe in constituent communication. Constituents really appreciate it.
@rachelle_morris Nope. This is not a “loophole,” as you well know. This is constituent communication. The Congressman’s constituents routinely tell us how much they appreciate hearing from their Congressman so they can follow what he’s working on.
@carolyn_phippen@hauserdan@mjolley22 Cool spin, but, as you well know, this is not a “loophole.” This is constituent communication. It’s an important part of ensuring constituents know what Members are working on.
@mjolley22 Per the Administration Committee’s Communications Manual, this is allowed. These communications were sent in batches of 499 or less, putting them below the threshold of a “mass communication” and therefore exempt from blackout rules.
