The Americans with Disabilities Act — passed 35 years ago — was not a gift. It was the result of a powerful movement led by people who demanded to be seen, heard and treated with dignity.

The fight for equality is far from over. In fact, it is more urgent now than ever.

When there’s no next season to chase, it makes you realize how special this one was. No more practices, hotel hallways, or game day hair braiding. Just because it isn't next season doesn’t mean there aren’t following chapters, & I can’t wait to watch them unfold. 💙

Due to today’s events, our team is officially exiting the @TFNsRun4Roses Championship Tournament.
The safety and mental well-being of our players, families, and staff is my top priority as the coach.

What occurred today was tragic and deeply unsettling. Watching public safety officers rush in with shotguns, semi-auto patrol rifles, and helicopters circling overhead is not something anyone should have to experience — especially young athletes.

To ask teams to return tomorrow under these conditions is unacceptable. This is not just about basketball, and it should never be just about money.
