14.3.1 I think the most surprising thing I learned was the evolution of social media. It taught me what was before social media and how people connected. #GNED1411

14.2 with recent events I believe that Skype will come back into play, mainly all the video connected apps. For obvious reasons. All the socials that are here now will always stay at the top because they are used the most . #GNED1411

14.1 I truly think SM will damage the world. It’s has good properties but like I said before, anyone would do anything for likes and views. It could end badly. All the trends that have arose have been bad. Tide pod challenge, covid challenge, condom challenge.... pt2 #GNED1411

13.3 I think social media shouldn’t be used in the classroom. Student would get distracted. Rather than doing school would that would be trolling the site. It’s a great idea but the execution of it may be flawed. #GNED1411

13.2 Skype for one would be a great use for education and zoom. It can be used as an online classroom for online gneds but the only flaw is its timed sessions. Basecamp is a great one as well. I currently use it for one of my classes to keep in touch and access files. #GNED1411

13.1 I used social media for education primarily for this class. Twitter for the participation and the audit. Facebook for the audit. I do use social media and a ways of communication between my classmates but she’s about it. #GNED1411

12.3 I believe that it does make a difference because everyone, everywhere is on social media. The new norm these days is how many likes, follows, views can you get and by participating and show that you did it grants you that attention. #GNED1411

12.2 one thing that I’ve noticed for advocacy is, people are encouraging others to help out food banks. Due to the pandemic, some are running low and they would be very gracious for donations. #GNED1411

12.1 I think that social media is very effective especially Facebook when it cause you activism and advocacy. I haven’t been “moved” to support a cause but I have multiple friends on Facebook that do and have posted them. #GNED1411

11.2 crowdfunding. Being part of the scouting community, every year we do fundraising but rather then using social media we do face to face by selling scout popcorn to surrounding houses. #GNED1411
