@GSwinburn @Yorknewsview The decision's been announced, including all the conditions. I don't think the licence can be cancelled now other than through the licence review process. One of the conds is that the premises must be a LGBTQIA+ venue, so I don't think this is a case of increasing the lease value

I'm appalled by last night's decision to approve a discriminatory #BlueBadgeBan in York centre for nearly 6 weeks in the run up to Xmas.

2. We need more diversity in politics, including more people who are disabled, young, LGBTQIA+, etc, as well as more women
3. Being exclusionary and marginalising trans women does not help to create an inclusive environment that encourages women to stand

.@ElectHer_UK found there are twice as many men as women standing in the May elections. We're still so far from equal representation in our elected representatives. There are no elections in York in May but I'm always happy to talk to any women who might be interested in standing

@GSwinburn I don't think it's accurate to say that they are going to be plastered all over the inner city. They've applied for planning permission, but that doesn't mean they'll get it, or that they'll get permission from the highways authority.

I'm afraid there's not much CYC can do about that if they're not breaking any rules

A few weeks ago we leveled the area and removed trip hazards after it was left very uneven by machinery removing a fallen tree. The grass is already starting to grow back.

Thank you to Huntington Road residents for organising a leaf clearing and bulb planting session on Monkbridge Landing. Together we planted 200 bulbs. We're looking forward to seeing it in Spring
