@Sonos If anyone here can recommend an alternative system which actually has good functionality with Audible plus other services I would be grateful as I'm most likely giving up.
@Sonos you have a terrible new app, got rid of the sleep timer and alarms, and my speakers have completely stopped working with Audible. Is that deliberate? Will the audible issue be fixed? If not I need to switch systems so please let me know.
@iD_Mobile_UK are there still issues with the network? I didn't have any access for a long time last week and now the same thing yesterday and today. Is this my phone or is it you?
REAL ESTATE, PLEASE DO YOUR THING.
@MayorofLondon wants empty offices, shops and hotel rooms in which to house homeless people during this freezing weather. @LdnPropAlliance is rallying real estate companies to help. More in @EGPropertyNews (no paywall) https://t.co/JMuQUN76Hw
Oh nothing just an urban planner from overseas praising the excellent quality of new housing and commercial developments in London.
And he’s right. London is a stunning city, and generally (not always) gets new development spot on. Privilege to live here.

Yesterday evening a balcony collapsed in onto the street in my apartment building, just 4 years after construction.
The building, whose freeholder is Barking & Dagenham Council, was constructed by @BouyguesUK on behalf of @lbbdcouncil ‘s social and affordable housing company, BD Reside.
All 414 properties are now considered “unsafe” and we will need to erect scaffolding in across the entire estate to keep ourselves and the public safe.

NEWS: St.Pancras station unveiled its Christmas tree today! We know, but it is a beauty. It's covered in books and there are cubby holes around the bottom where you can sit and read.
“Local builders have been squeezed out of the market,” Berry says. “We know that consumer satisfaction is higher for smaller housebuilders, because their reputation depends on building quality homes. The volume builders just turn up, build, then move on.”
@shortthought@Telegraph It's not a good headline but considering the initial advice is to consider whether the development can be adapted in some way to make it more suitable rather than halted altogether... it's not all bad.
🔺Investigation: Britain’s homeless children.
I’ve spent time with 2 families in Stockport and London with no where to live, navigating a broken housing system.
At one primary school, half of the pupils are homeless, living in temporary accommodation. https://t.co/MHul7d7vaO
