St Lawrence, Radstone has a saddleback roof! These are pretty rare across the country (I can only think of a couple of others). Inside are these two fine bells. The chancel was rebuilt in the Victorian period. It makes for an quirky and intriguing shape! #churchcrawling #bells

Town hall Pharmacy in Tallin Estonia started its life in 1422 and it is the oldest continuously running pharmacy in the world. Still serves people as a pharmacy as it started in 1422. Photos 2013

After a lengthy search, I finally found the signature of Clayton and Bell in the east window of Elmdon church. It’s an absolute stonker of a window too! #stainedglass #churchcrawling

A bit ago there was a discussion on IG about whitewashing vs exposing stonework in churches. Some liked to see the stonework as it allows us to see more of the buildings history, while others thought it anachronistic and would prefer to see it painted. What do you all think?
