Random autograph of the week. September 8, 1985. Richmond VA. Alan Kulwicki. This was Alan's first cup series race, in the #32 Hardee's sponsored T-Bird. He finished 19th, 8 laps down to winner Darrell Waltrip.
Random autograph of the week. October 20, 1985. Rockingham. Buck Baker. Buck was a two time Cup Series champion, 1956 and 1957. In 1985, when i got this autograph, he ran the Baker Driving School at Rockingham. His sons Buddy and Randy were both in this race. @Rockingham1965

Random autograph of the week. November 7, 1982. Atlanta. Cecil Gordon. He failed to qualify for the race but obviously stayed around because he signed this on race day.
Random autograph of the week. May 4, 1986. Talladega. Phil Barkdoll. Phil finished 28th this day, falling out of the race after 149 laps with engine problems. He was still at the track after the race ended which was when I got this autograph.

Another random autograph. Mark Stahl. This was acquired at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 15, 1987. Mark finished 30th that day. He started 30 Cup races between 1981 and 1993 with a best finish of 16th at Darlington in 1986

July 30, 1989. Talladega, Alabama. Patty Moise reading the July 27, 1989 issue of Grand National Scene. This weekend was the last of 5 Cup series starts for Patty. She started 36th and finished 33rd after engine failure. @TheSceneVault
8/31/03 Darlington. Terry Labonte celebrates after winning the Southern 500. This was the last Labor Day weekend 500 until 2015. This was Terry's last Cup Series win and it came 23 years after his first win, which came in the 1980 Southern 500 @TooToughToTame@TeamHendrick
July 5, 2003. Pepsi 400 at Daytona. Greg Biffle won his first Cup series race during his rookie season after starting 30th. The final 81 laps of the race were run under green which enabled Biffle to take the win on fuel milage. Tony Stewart finished 21st.
June 15, 1985. Orange County Speedway. This was the 13th race of the 1985 BGN season. 24 cars started the race with Jack Ingram on the pole. Ingram and Tommy Houston both led in the first 75 laps until Larry Pearson took the lead on lap 76 and led the rest of the way.
August 3,1996 The Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis. Mike Skinner waits to get into the #3 Monte Carlo to relief drive for Dale Earnhardt. Earnhardt had been injured the previous week at Talladega. During the first caution at Indy, Skinner took over and finished 15th, on the lead lap
February 26, 1984. Richmond Raceway. #41 Ronnie Thomas and #28 Cale Yarborough off turn two. Ronnie only completed 152 of the 400 laps and finished 31st. Cale finished 14th, four laps down to race winner Ricky Rudd. This was Cale's last short track race in his 31 year cup career.
