Combined cost to register my #Rivian R1S and R1T in Michigan: $1,356.

EV fee went from $167 to $267 as of Jan 1. Curious how this compares to other states lol @Hilbe

@brandenflasch @Hilbe @itskyleconner I went to a Tesla first, but it kept failing saying payment method failed even though it worked that morning. I normally just use Rivian chargers, Tesla, and whatever is highly reviewed on PlugShare if I have time to check

I am having an all time crash out with EV charging today. To start, I own two Rivian, and I owned a 2012 leaf that was purchased new, so I’ve been doing EV charging forever.

This morning on the way to my main office which is a 3hr drive I stopped at a Tesla charger for 5 mins…

At this point I’m so annoyed and questioning if I should buy EVs at all. Tagging my favorite EV charging enthusiasts to read my all time crash out thread @brandenflasch @Hilbe @itskyleconner

So I reset charging, and lose about 10 mins of charging, and I saw that the station has a $1 session fee, in addition to $0.54kwh, so I get to pay that fee twice because the station failed! Woohoo.
