There are exceptions to every rule but I would not expect it here

Regardless of his production he will be kept low in the lineup specifically to keep pressure off of him

For instance, if you trade for Alverez, LH bat must be traded (i.e. Dom)

Even if the Skubal trade were right on value, Ms aren't leaving Julio & Raley as only rostered OF in '27

TMobile has been consistent in being slighly better for lefties but still terrible for both

But absolutely makes sense to acquire hitters not impacted by TMobile

Discourages player development. Far fewer guys spend the major portion of their career with one team. Incentive to delay promotion only gets worse.
