@RinoTheBouncer@LukeStephensTV Saying they're new games as much as any original release is undermining the work of artists and writers in games. Coming up with new stories and ideas is half the work, and remakes are technical reconstructions following a pre-existing blueprint. It's a crime they're fully priced
@Ellioft1@rexregal2@DiscussingFilm The only way I can see you maybe enjoying the Netflix adaptation is if you're only a fan of the 2013 reboot trilogy. And sorry to burst your bubble, but that's not Tomb Raider. Never was
@Navxrroo@DiscussingFilm Yes when it's an unnecessary cash grab in a franchise milked beyond dry. And the mentality of being 100% sure something is gonna be good before you can even try it is a bad one that I'd rather see kept in check. You can be excited but I think some healthy skepticism is good, no?
@SoundwaveXP 1. Ever heard of emulators?
2. If you wanna enjoy an old game, suck it up and play the old game. That's part of the experience. (and the respect to the original devs/original work)
3. They're often charging $60+ for these remakes, wdym? Even $40 is criminal.
@TheSphereHunter@ZeroXVP We have. We're merely pointing out how inconsistent and contradictory your stance has been across various videos and statements.
@TheSphereHunter I agree with you, but you do understand that you've significantly contributed to this remake culture with your very public support and excitement for recent remakes? It's fine to enjoy those games, but this message rings kinda hollow.
