Doesn't make the place any warmer (thermostatic radiator valves) but less goes into the walls = more into the room = less gas to heat house = less £ spent 🤩 & around 1 year payback time.

That should help with you calculations.

@SELonCommEnergy @alexharteco @EnergySvgTrust @NEA_UKCharity @TheNEF @Comm1nrg @CESouthNRG @CommEnergyLDN @CommEnCumbria @CEPCornwall @CES_Tweet @CommEnergyNI @CommEnergyEast @RegenCommun1ty @cse_communities @CommEnergyWales The figure you need is in Table 4 on page 4, you will see that the saving per square meter of Radflek when installed in a house with uninsulated solid walls (U-value = 2.1) is 94.9KWh per annum.
This was then divided by 0.78 to take into account the efficiency of the gas boiler.

[Energy Saving Trust @EnergySvgTrust]

@alexharteco @Radflek @NEA_UKCharity Hi, insulating behind radiators on uninsulated outside walls with foil panels reduces the amount of heat lost. This means you’ll spend less money heating the radiator up, and it’ll stay hotter for longer.

[Action Net Zero @actionnetzero]

💸 Trying to beat the #energy hike? You can increase the efficiency of your radiators with a radiator reflector, which reflect an amazing 95% of the wasted heat from the rear of the radiator back into your room!

Check out Bristol-based @Radflek to pick some up for yourself.
